Hi, I’m Mat. Owner and sole chiropractor at Spinal Decompression Perth by Perth Chiro Centre.
Over the past 21 years I have worked extensively with patients suffering from lower back pain, sciatica, disc bulges, nerve irritation and chronic spinal conditions.
As my clinical experience evolved, I became increasingly focused on patients whose symptoms appeared to be coming from spinal discs and nerve compression rather than general stiffness or routine musculoskeletal pain.
Many patients attending the clinic have already tried physiotherapy, massage, medications, injections or traditional chiropractic treatment without lasting improvement. Some are attempting to avoid surgery, while others are trying to better understand whether surgery may eventually be necessary.
This led me to build a more structured spinal decompression program focused specifically on MRI and CT-based assessment of disc and nerve conditions.
Not every patient is suitable for spinal decompression therapy. My role is to assess whether conservative care remains appropriate based on a patient’s symptoms, imaging findings and overall clinical presentation.
Our clinic currently operates four dedicated Hill DT spinal decompression tables and focuses primarily on lumbar and cervical disc-related presentations.
