Initial Decompression Consult &

Follow Up Trial Decompression Therapy

Please be aware that no decompression therapy will be administered during the initial consultation. The purpose of the initial consultation is to review the patient's condition and symptoms and to evaluate whether the patient is a suitable candidate for decompression therapy. It is required that patients have undergone a previous MRI or CT scan to be considered for this therapy.

Following the initial consultation, the chiropractor will take time to thoroughly analyse the patient's scans and symptoms to develop a personalised treatment plan for the individual patient. This involves determining the precise angles and appropriate amount of force necessary for the decompression therapy to achieve the most beneficial results for that patient.

The cost of the initial consultation includes a follow-up visit - the patient's first decompression therapy session. This session allows the patient to experience the decompression table and enables the chiropractor to assess the patient's tolerance and ensure that the table does not aggravate the patient's symptoms. If the table aggravates the patient's symptoms during this trial session, the session will be stopped immediately.

If it is determined that the patient is not a suitable candidate for decompression therapy and will not proceed with the trial decompression therapy session, the patient will only be charged a consultation fee of $89.
